Founded in 1951, WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG changed the way electrical connections are made with the invention of Spring Pressure Connection Technology. Headquartered in Minden Westphalia), Germany, WAGO leads the industry with innovations that make industry safer and more efficient. In 1995, for example, WAGO became one of the world’s premier automation suppliers with the introduction of the first modular, fieldbus-independent control system.
WAGO products are used in more than 30 countries for a wide range of applications (e.g., power and process technology, building automation, machinery and equipment, as well as industrial and automotive applications). WAGO employs more than 7.200 people around the world. The firm’s last posted revenues were EUR 720 million.
For control cabinets: Rail-mounted terminal blocks, pluggable connectors, power supplies, relay modules, transducers, interface modules, mounting and marking accessories.
For building installations: Junction box terminal boxes, lighting connectors, rail-mounted terminal blocks, building pluggable connection systems. For electrical equipment: PCM terminal blocks and connectors for feedthrough applications.
For automation applications: Controllers, IP20/IP67 I/O systems for all standard fieldbus systems in industrial automation, telecontrol and HMI applications.
WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 XTR
XTR combines the benefits of the successful WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 with key features for extraordinary dependability in tough environments: Extreme resistance to temperatures from -40°C and +70°C, immunity to interference up to 1kV (<6 V, Class VW1) and 5kV (>=60V, Class VW3) according to EN60870-2-1, as well as vibration resistance up to 5g acceleration. It requires little space and is distinguished by low energy and maintenance costs - along with incredible system uptime, enhances productivity.
The Rail-Mounted Terminal Block Systems TOPJOB® S and X-COM®
The widest range of products equipped with Spring Pressure Connection Technology: TOPJOB® S, along with POWER CAGE CLAMP, is the DIN-rail terminal block system for industry, buildings and traffic applications. The TOPJOB® S DIN-rail mount terminal blocks are the industry’s most compact. Whenever time and cost savings are vital for system wiring the XCOM®, X-COM® S and X-COM®-S-MINI rail-mounted terminal block systems are used – for example in switchgear and control systems for railway systems.
COMPACT Splicing Connectors for All Conductor Types (221 Series)
WAGO's 221 Series is 40% smaller and even more user-friendly than its successful predecessor (222 Series). The 2-, 3- and 5-wire connectors accommodate stranded wires from 0.14 to 4mm², as well as solid and fine-stranded wires from 0.2 to 4mm² (24–12 AWG). Tinned current bars ensure a permanent, gas-tight and secure wire connection.
Ratings up to 32 A/450V and 105°C maximum continuous operating temperature allow the 221 Series to be used at ambient temperatures up to 85°C (T85).
The economically priced and compact EPSITRON® ECO Power Supplies offer versatile DIN-35 rail and screw mounting options, making them easy to install in ultra-compact control cabinets and devices. Each single-phase ECO Power Supply has a wide input range for AC voltages from 100–240 V and can be connected to utility grids worldwide. They provide 24 VDC nominal output voltages and models are available from 1.25–10A.
Beyond control cabinets, the ECO Power Supplies are ready for a variety of consumer-oriented applications within the scope of the “household appliance standard” thanks to EN 60335 conformity. This enables WAGO to economically bring trusted industrial technology to everyday applications, e.g., vending machines, slot machines, coffee machines, as well as heating controls and ventilation systems.
Equipped with proven CAGE CLAMP® connection technology, WAGO's 787-17x2 Primary Switch Mode Power Supplies can be easily installed in both control cabinets and everyday devices.
