Permanent magnetic separation methods are a simple way in order to separate magnetic and non-magnetic parts from material to be conveyed. Systems developed by TRIDELTA enable the realization of cost-efficient and sustainable solutions. The permanent magnetic separation processes work normally and are thus fail-safe and maintenance-poor. Thus, there are no, or only minor costs.
Magnetic brakes function thanks to a permanent magnetic metal disc that is braking an opposing rotating metal disc. Like that such brakes are extremely cost-efficient and fail-safe at the same time. They work wear-free, maintenance free, non-contact and under normal circumstances they have an almost unlimited service life.

Magnetic sorting and separating
Magnets provide a simple procedure to isolate magnetic from non-magnetic parts. Permanent magnetic separation processes use no electricity what obtains low maintenance.
We also produce pot magnets from all magnet-materials – optimally designed materials for manifold tasks.
The specific feature of the eddy current brake is that the braking power increases with gaining relative revolutions. This type of brake shows low torque at low speeds. Its maximum braking torque is only reached at high speeds. This brake is commonly used when the braking force depends on the speed or revolutions where moving masses must be quickly braked or accelerated without large heat development and where contact-free and wear-free operation is desired without energy supply.
The braking torque is largely independent from the relative speed between the discs and completely available already at low rotational speeds. A small air gap is set between the discs. If necessary it can be changed which gives a possibility to adjust the torque.
Magnetic Filter Rod
Magnetic filter rods can be used to sort out magnetic parts from fluid or solid material flows. Filter rods enable a continuous flow of material, run without electricity and raise no follow-up costs. This obtains fail-safety, low maintenance and sustainability. Filter rods can be integrated in existing processes. Moreover they can be combined to a filter grid to achieve larger catch spaces.
